WWB Filipino Country Team: Solidarity Mission
Even though Covid-19 has set many limitations over the last few months, our courageous Filipino Country Team recently traveled to the Eastern Samar Province of Samar Island to do a special “Solidarity Mission” for the families who were affected by the Ambo typhoon. While practicing social distancing during the Water Women training, our team had the opportunity to empower 100 mothers as new Water Women with the Sawyer Pointone filter. It’s a true blessing to help ensure 400 families will now have access to safe and clean drinking water.
Please join us in praying for the wisdom and safety of our team members as they begin welcoming new Water Women in the near future. We hope to do more Water Women trainings in the Philippines as we continue with our new safety protocols and procedures to protect our team members and those they serve.
