“balikbayan boxes” Drive Thru Event August 15th and September 27th at 103 N. Madison Ave., 40243
We’re partnering with My BalikBayan LLC to raise awareness for our work in the Philippines, especially with the Franciscan Oikos Sisters. We’ve known and loved these wonderful Filipino nuns for years, as they were our first partners in the Philippines. Recently we’ve been approached by this balikbayan box company with a history of helping orphans by shipping contributions. When they told us they were looking for a trustworthy orphanage, we knew just who that would be!
BalikBayan LLC will be collecting for orphans…and you certainly don’t have to be Filipino to help out! This collection will focus on school supplies, flip-flops, t-shirts, cotton shorts, or sundresses. Children’s vitamins and OTC meds will also be hugely appreciated.
The Village Anchor – Celebrity Host event is their way of giving back to nonprofits in the Louisville area. On Sunday August 30 during the dinner shift (5-9pm), Water With Blessings will be the host for the evening. Up to 10% of the night’s total revenue will be donated to us. We hope you can join us in celebrating our life-changing work. Village Anchor is located at 11507 Park Road in Anchorage, Kentucky, and their website is villageanchor.com Dine out orders will also count towards the donation.

Cradles of Christ – Silent Night Auction – December 11-13
It’s Christmas in July at Water With Blessings! This means we are collecting gift cards from your favorite restaurants and stores, crafts that you created during stay-at home orders, and gently used Christmas items that you uncovered during your deep cleaning. All items will be used in our Silent Night Auction at the Cradles of Christ Nativity Display in December.
